We are a multidisciplinary team of sustainability and sustainable finance experts and passionate about helping our clients to address regulatory sustainability challenges by developing innovative and practical solutions.
Christian Mahler is an expert in sustainability and sustainable finance. He supports companies and financial institutions in translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable strategies. His focus is on the implementation of the CSRD, the development of climate strategies, risk assessment and the alignment of business models with sustainability goals. He has extensive international experience in the analysis, financing and implementation of sustainable transformation processes. His expertise ranges from the decarbonisation of value chains and the establishment of PCAF-compliant emissions accounting to the integration of regulatory requirements into management and reporting processes.
CHRISTIAN MAHLER
Charlotte is a senior sustainability and strategy consultant with extensive experience in advising corporations, international organisations and foundations.
For the past years, she has worked with clients on how to measure and increase their social impact, identified material issues and developed customized sustainability strategies.
She also has experience as a corporate communications consultant. In 2014, Charlotte founded a legal tech startup.
CHARLOTTE NOLTENIUS
Janina Barkemeyer is a senior expert in public policy and sustainability. She cooperates with Planet Now on various projects as freelance consultant.
Janina has extensive work experience in the German government in cooperation with developing and emerging countries as well as a personal advisor to the state secretary of a state government in the areas of environment, infrastructure and development policy.
JANINA BARKEMEYER
Shibani Khuntia is a sustainability consultant specialising in climate-related finance and sustainability regulation.
With an academic background in law and public policy, she has extensive experience in greenhouse gas emissions accounting and applying established sustainability standards, such as TCFD, CDP and SBTi. She has supported financial institutions in aligning their real estate portfolios with net-zero targets and is an expert in PCAF processes. She is also familiar with key EU regulations, such as SFDR, CRR and CSRD, and has extensive experience in stakeholder communication and project coordination.
SHIBANI KHUNTIA
Christoph Haupenthal supports Planet Now as senior advisor with over 25 years of consulting experience. He specializes in working with industrial companies and supports them in their transformation, including strategy development, sustainability focus, and organizational model introduction.
Christoph has worked for consulting firms like Deloitte and KPMG and has also founded several successful companies.
